Religious/Spiritual Relationship vs Practice lifestyles

Daily writing prompt
What bothers you and why?

I say this respectfully, I know this is a hefty topic for many. My answer: individuals who are adamant on pushing one narrative on how to practice religion/spirituality. If we as humans are unique beings and even have different communication/learning/living styles, what makes you so stuck on pressuring people to practice religion in a specific and restricted way? It is the very people that preach how religious and in tune with spirituality they are that say things such as “Oh, if you don’t go to Church and pay the tilth everyday, you are not one of us.” or things of that nature (you get the point) that are the most out of tune with the very purpose of said topic. Obviously there are bad and good apples in all places/industries so please, do not get offended if this does not apply to you. If someone is more comfortable practicing whatever they need to practice at home or wherever, then let them! Religion/Spirituality is not about the way you practice, it is the relationship with source that matters. I don’t care who/what you want to call it (God, Gods, Universe, Buddha, Allah, Creator, yourself, etc.), as long as you are building that relationship in some type of way that helps you cope and growth as a individual with Divine purpose, you’re doing something right.
